Jadarae started writing in the 5th grade. She’s been told she has a “Terry McMillan” vibe and feels fortunate enough to have developed the “JadaRae” vibe. The author is currently working on the sequel to her first novel A Wanted Man as well as a few other projects. You can view her work on her website, http://www.jadarae.com.
Lyda Phillips is the award-winning author of Mr. Touchdown and Peace I Ask of Thee, Oh River. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, went to school in Memphis, Tenn., and has degrees from Northwestern, Columbia and Vanderbilt universities. She has worked as a journalist for trade papers, weeklies, dailies and United Press International. She has also worked for political campaigns, as a political pollster and public relations executive. Her real love has always been writing. Recently, she was offered an interview on a The Writing Show, a popular Internet podcast, after posting on The Writers’ Block an informative piece on her experience with iUniverse. Hi, I am one of the authors participating in the Camel Book Library. I would like to post to your blog. Please let me know how/if I can do so.
It looks wonderful!
Bravo!
Laurie Nadel
Hi Laurie,
We’ve reached our capacity for authors on the blog at the moment, but if you would like to be a guest blogger please let us know. You’ll be able to do much of the same as a regular blog member (upload photos and links to your books in your posts, etc.) but your books and bio will not be listed in the Meet the Writers or About Our Work section.
If we do have more space in the future, guest bloggers will be welcome to join The Writers’ Block. Thanks for your interest & let us know what weekend works for you if you’re interested in guest blogging!
I’d love to be a guest blogger, too, and discuss how writers can generate free publicity online and offline.
